PLEASE DONATE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE MENTAL WELLBEING AND HEALTH OF CARE WORKERS TODAY

In addition to supporting care workers with financial grants, the CWC offers mental health and wellbeing support.

The  pandemic showed the resilience and determination of care workers as they continued to care for the most vulnerable members of our society. However, the combined toll of the pandemic, stressful work situations and the cost-of-living crisis has meant more care workers than ever before are in need of mental health and wellbeing support. They may be suffering from stress, PTSD, burn-out, depression, or some other condition which can impact on their home and work life and to their relationships with their loved ones.

The charity offers sessions of therapy/counselling from licensed professionals that is tailored to the needs of the individual.

What We Offer

Initial Assessment: Our approach starts with an initial assessment to understand the unique needs of everyone.

10 x Hour Long Sessions

Specialised Therapists: Clients are matched with specialised therapists who are well-versed in addressing specific needs, whether it's related to PTSD, depression, stress or other concerns.

No Waiting List: Unlike traditional services, our clients typically hear back within a week of submitting their applications.

Complete Confidentiality: We maintain the strictest confidentiality to ensure that care workers feel safe in discussing their concerns.

No One Turned Away: We welcome all care workers, and the process is simple.

Pre- and Post-Questionnaires: We begin the process with a pre-questionnaire, and additional sessions are awarded based on the client's progress and needs.

Applications from All Sources: Applications for our services can be made through mental health first aiders, as well as through the information provided with our financial grants. In fact, the information flow goes both ways; if our grant team becomes aware of a care worker in need of mental health support, they are promptly informed of this offering.

Flexibility in Delivery: Counseling sessions can be conducted face-to-face or via video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, allowing care workers to choose the format that suits them best.

Your donation will enable us to provide help to more care workers who need health and wellbeing support
