My Story

I'm cycling as far as I can in 48 hours for the Care Workers Charity. I picked the 48 hour cycling challenge because it blends thinking and planning with physical activity. The distance will be measured in a straight line, so the winner isn't necessarily the person who's done the most peddling. I've enjoyed planning routes, testing out equipment and exploring my capabilities!

The Care Workers Charity provides financial aid so that no care worker has to face financial hardship alone. The charity is doing a great job supporting carers in their critical work and raising the profile of care workers both in and out of the care sector. That’s really pertinent to the work we do within the home care sector at my company Unique IQ,  so it felt like a relevant and worthwhile cause for this cycling challenge.
